1978 Wedgwood Calendar Plate

This lovely Queen's ware plate is number eight in thecalendar plate series. Also known as the Samurai Plate.

It has a white ground. The centre depicts stylised Japanese cherry blossom. Around the edge of the plate are Samurai warriors in combative poses. Does not come boxed.

Diameter: 10" (25.4 cms)

Black 'Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston' and special Samurai marks on base.
